Was I pounding nervous?
Yes, you bet I was!
Being Head of a Science Center, Intuitive Counseling and Hand Analysis do not usually go hand in hand. But I did it! I told The Board that I wanted to quit my center leader position, to mix worlds and devote myself to both my research within learning, but also use my intuition and therapeutic tools in my 1:1 sessions, group work and online courses.
An indescribable feeling of freedom! Now I could put my entire self into play in my work life as well. - And at that point I had no idea that my business would expand to include transformational workshops, courses, lectures, piles of blog posts and educations as well.
You can do the same; Create a life on your terms.
And in that proces you’ll have to look carefully at your limiting beliefs. The pain these beliefs create for us makes us stuck stuck in an egocentrism, that makes it really hard for The World around us to reach us. And because the pain - over the years - becomes so familiar, we nice and quiet shut down for the calling in us and what our heart have been whispering to us over and over again. We suffer in ourselves and the result is, that we check out.
I can help you check in again, but I cannot promise you it will be fearless. Let's face it: Every time you have done things you were a little or TOTALLY afraid of, you have outgrown yourself. If you have absolutely no fear about your next step, there is nothing for you to either win nor learn.
I had to quit a job that gave me tons of acknowledgement and recognition, that I had to give myself while I built up my business. Your brave heart might pump deep, soft and strongly for something completely different; A new way you wanna reach out for your partner or a child? That you dare to share what does not work for you in your job, and dare to put out new boundaries as you grow?
We’ll do anything to return to our familiar home of pain. We might even have solved the problem we had, to create a similar one elsewhere. This proces can continue until we seriously say NO THANK YOU, and put something else instead. I can help you with this transition. At times you'll revisit your old home. But I can also promise you that if you dare, your life becomes larger, more vivid, more filled with love and depth, in ways you could not possibly imagine.
Finally I’ll remind you of something very important! Pain is not a punishment, because you have done something 'wrong'. Enjoyment is not a reward. Our ego wants us to believe that. Our core soul knows that both emotions are a part of life and that they should both have a seat.
It's at the level we work!
